Hello, I\\'m adopted, I think.
My past has recently been drawn into question.

My parents always told us we were adopted but recent revelations has drawn that into question.

As far as the story goes, my adoptive father comes from a rich family.

Apparently they didn\\'t think too much of him and he thought that they\\'d be bound to leave his kids some money, so he went out and got married and adopted some kids, making sure that one of them was a boy, who he\\'d name after himself, so when the inheritance checks came in the mail, he could deposit them just as well, having the same name on them and the only people who\\'d know it wasn\\'t his money were obviously already dead.

But there was one problem, apparently when this boy was about 3 years old my father decided it would be a good idea to go into his room and rape the young child. Only being around 3 years old and my father a rather large fat man, the little boy suffocated and died under my father\\'s crushing body weight. Paniced about this he told a neighbor who helped him bury the boy. But the problem was that in order to cover his crime and more importantly defraud his dead relatives, my father still needed a male child who had his name.

Apparently the neighbor from across the street had a female relative who worked in family services and took a child, presumably me, from foster care, as I think I remember now my birth mother being hurt of killed in an accident.

Actually not killed but so disfigured by her accident and being so young and pretty and apparently vain, she decided to kill herself, while still in the hospital recovering, rather than go threw life with her face scared.

Granted either version leaves me with not knowing who I am or where I came from, so I saw this DNA thing online and thought that I could at least check what my ancestry was.

But most disappointly, this site has been a total loss and after giving them $250, I still don\\'t any more than I did before hand. All their searches are apparently useless but kindly offer you more markers for more money that won\\'t tell you anymore than the other ones I already bought.

Oh yes, they kindly sent me along a map of the world and different groups where people came from but apparently that section is just not offered on this site, so still ultimately useless.

My searches revealed that I could be Japanese, African or Danish and my closest YDNA relative on this site is apparently a gay Jewish man from England.

Is it really that hard?

They Y chromosome does not change from generation to generation, it should be a fairly easy process and I feel I\\'m just being jerked around to try and extort more money out of me for information that still won\\'t tell me anything.

Does anyone have any information?

Am I using this site wrong?

Is there a reputable site that you can recommend or somebody to report this site to for dishonest and misleading business practices?

Any assistance would be helpful.
