Your paternal line may be Ashkenazim, or maybe your ancestors came as early as Neolithic times. I am J1e, which is really small fraction of 1% of the UK male population, so I know how you feel. I\\'ve actually never felt like I fit in here and have always felt more at home around the Mediterranean. So my discovery of my paternal lineage was a revelation. However I suspect the majority of my DNA (autosomnal) is pretty well 100% British. regards, RouX
