Go to www.findagrave.com,  the BEST source for finding cemeteries and people buried within them. If you know of someone's burial location, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE add them to the cemetery page there. You can also send out requests to have people photograph the gravestones, which as you know is invaluable confirmation source.

There is also www.interment.net. Also, www.earthsearch.net enables you to look at very detailed geographic maps, which marks down even the smallest of cemeteries.

 I just recently found out about "findagrave.com" and am glad I did.  I found over ten gravesites on my ancesters that  I have been searching for.  Thanks to the contributors of this site for all your hard work.  This is the best source for finding a grave site.

 We are a group working with the Historical Society in Taney Co.,Mo. transcribing cemeteries in the whole county, and then taking pictures of the stones, and adding them to Find A Grave. A suggestion to  other areas would be to make this a project for groups to take on a project like this. Would be  great for our genealogy research. williet
