I am looking for information on my grandparents, Peter and Emma Jahrling. I have no info on Peter Jahrling, except the last few years of his life. Peter was born in Germany. I know he was in Illinois 1889. Then in Missouri in 1891. Emma (nee Wogatzky) was born in 1870 in Prussia. Was listed in 1880 cenus as being 10 years old. Emma and Peter were married in ?Cook Co. They emigrated to Grimsby, Lincoln, Ontario to be with Stephen's older sister Margaret and her husband Henry Bull. Stephen was invalided out of the army after the battle for Vimy Ridge.
