Have you ever wonder if you might be related to the famous scientist, Robert Hooke?  Or perhaps a knight - Sir Humphrey Hooke?  Maybe you're related to a pious man who was burned alive for his beliefs?  Or a war hero from the Zulu wars?  These are just some of the very interesting Hookes that lie back in time waiting re-discovery. 

While doing my Hook family genealogy I came upon a lot of extra Hook(e) information but I wasn't sure to whom it belonged so I've decided to start a Hook(e) surname project.  I believe there are several Hooke families in England that may be related.  I have Heraldic information from England for several families.  My hope is to link this information together through DNA.

I look forward to meeting other people interested in the Hook(e) surname so that we can put it all together.
