Christianity

I believe that Jesus Christ came to earth in the human form of a baby boy to save all of mankind. He was born of a virgin. He grew up teaching us to be like him. Perfect. He never made any mistakes, he performed many miracles were there were many witnesses. He healed the sick, blind, deaf, people with leprosy, and all kinds of disease and sickness. Then he didn't have to but he allowed the roman soldiers to arrest him after one of his 12 disciples and friends betrayed him. Jesus never did anything wrong and did not deserve any of the things that happened to him. The soldiers beat him like they never had beaten anyone before, whithin an inch of his life. He went through horrible things for me and you. If he had wanted to he could have stopped it but he did it for us so we wouldn't have to get what we deserve. After being beat within an inch of his life he was forced to carry a huge, heavy wooden cross up a mountain while the people threw things at him and spit on him. When they reached the top of the mountain the soldiers nailed his hands and feet to the cross then lifted up the cross to stand up so he could hang there in agony. He did all of this for you and me. That is a pretty big sacrifice. He said, "Father forgive them they know not what they do." Luke 23:34 as he hung on the cross. Jesus did die on the cross; but 3 days later he rose again. It was no trick or deception. Jesus died and was buried in the tomb and 3 days later he wasn't there and many people witnessed him walking around alive. He died so that we could have life. If we accept that Jesus is God's son and realize that we all sin (do wrong things) and ask His forgiveness for those sins than we can spend eternal life with Jesus. This means that after we die we can go to heaven and live there with Jesus and we will never die but have eternal life. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son so that whoever believes in him shall not die but have eternal life." John 3:16 If you have any questions you can email me at alimayberry@hotmail.com or reply back on here.

I think that Jesus followers need to find a way to tell people about Jesus in a kind way that will get people to think about it. We shouldn't just sit around when other people who don't belevie are dying.

I agree. My question is... Once you believe in him... what next?

What you do is you tell people about him and grow in your relationship.

Thanks to all of you for joining. To answer the question about what to do next, I would say that what you should do after believing in Christ Jesus is read the Bible. Reading the Bible is one of the best things you can do to build up your foundation in Christ. When you learn about Jesus and read God's word then you will become wise and be able to tell others about Him. We should all try to tell other people about His Love. Through our actions we should try and show people His Love. No one is perfect. We all sin and mess up but God always will forgive us. "Whatever you do work at it with all of your heart as if working for the Lord, not men. Colossians 3:23" I encourage you to work at telling others about Jesus with all of your heart. It sometimes is not easy but the Bible says: "Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:12"

Why is this group silent now? To those who are inspired by the Holy Spirit to tell Jesus to others, come, you are invited to join the Internet Society of Servants for Christ.
