Hello! :)

You would think since these are two of the more common names it would be easy to find info but it is so hard to find valid info when I know so little! I know that my husband's g- g- great grandfather came over on the same boat as his g-g-great grandmother but they did not meet until they got to the US and tehy got here before 1865.I also know they are both from County Cork Ireland and settled in Illinois at some point. Their names were James and Margaret. Margaret's maiden name was McCormick and James was a fitzgerald. Unfortunatley I do not know much more than that. Any help would be HUGELY appreciated! Thanks so much!

Heather
