Description:	This is the site of the origional Cheers at 84 Beacon St.,Boston. Back in 1972, the bldg housed The Townhouse on the 2nd floor. It was a nightclub with bands on the weekend. It was the "IN" Place for Boston Singles. This is where my wife and I first met. Even in those days, there was a bar in the lower level called the Bull and Finch Pub. There was a Bar and Restaurant on the first floor too.
