It does indeed. First my grandmother at a young age, as a new mother. Then, it captures both my father and grandmother together. Then, it appears that he is looking at his mother and smiling. Beyond all those wonderful features, there are the bits of the house--most likely, that of my great-grandparents. Finally, of course, there's that little bit of Kentucky landscape peeking through. I love this picture, and am so glad that it exists. There's no doubt in my mind that my grandfather took it, as he was quite the photog!
