• Eulogy or Obituary @ -, Rites Set Today for Mrs. Shook

Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Shook, 86, who died Tuesday, will be held at the Western Hills Church of Christ at 3 P.M. Thursday. Ministers James LeFan and Raymond Morgan will officiate. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery. The body will be at the church one hour before services.

Mrs. Shook was born Maggie Richardson in McMinnville, Tennessee and came to Temple as a girl. She was married to Garner J. Shook in 1894. She was a member of the Western Hills Church of Christ.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. R.E. Mitchell of Route 1, Belton, and Mrs. R.L. Mershon of Longview; two sons, C.H. Shook of Beeville, and J.D. Shook of Austin; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1940 and a son, Claude L. Shook in 1954., -
