Version 2 of the I Subclade panel is now available. 3 newly discovered SNPs have now been added to the 19 SNPs included in the original I subclade panel, resulting in a total count of 22 SNPs tested in Version 2 of the Y-DNA I Subclade panel.

L38/S154 - I2b2 (L38+)

Individuals who have taken the I Subclade test and confirmed positive for M253, ie I1 (M253+) and negative for M21, M227, M72, and P259 may become further refined to subclade I1d (L22+) if they test positive for L22.
L69=T
Individuals who have taken the I Subclade test and confirmed positive for M426 but negative for P41.2, ie I2a2 (M423+), previously known as I2a1, may become further refined to subclade I2a2b (L69=T) if the marker at L69 is T.
L38/S154
Individuals who have taken the I Subclade test and confirmed positive for M436 but negative for M223, M284, M379, P78 and P95, ie I2b (M436+) may become further refined to subclade I2b2 (L38+) if they test positive for L38.
